NO Uniform was founded in 2002 by one of high fashion’s most exciting entrepreneurs, Nicholas Oakwell. A British couturier with 25 years exprience, Mr. Oakwell had his entire first couture collection bought by Harvey Nichols and three years later showed at Paris Couture Week.

Mr. Oakwell has built an undisputed reputation for exquisite craftsmanship and a discerning eye for elegance. NO Uniform’s design director instils the same dedication and craftsmanship at NO Uniform, from concept to delivery.

NO Uniform prides itself on its ability to do more than simply design a client’s uniforms. Mr. Oakwell and the NO Uniform design team, trained at the UK’s top fashion schools, work closely with every client to collaborate in creating a comprehensive brief, research the brand and demographics and integrate colours and logos.

NO Uniform applies a contemporary and conscious approach to uniform design, thinking functionally, as well as fashionably. NO Uniform dresses the brand.

NO Uniform’s clients are diverse and vary from historic five-star hotels in London to international and independent hotel groups, restaurants, private residences and corporate and financial institutions. Over the past decade, NO Uniform has created functional and iconic uniforms for Pret and Heathrow Express, the Ibis Hotel and London’s historic Claridge’s Hotel, The Arts Club in Mayfair and Dorado Beach (a Ritz Carlton Reserve) in Puerto Rico, and many more.
