The new-build hotel, which opened in 2022 in time for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, set new standards on the global luxury hospitality scene. With the 2022 FIFA World Cup bringing global attention to Doha, Raffles Doha approached us to design a standout uniform collection that would fully capture this tourism spotlight. The goal was to reflect the luxury and cultural essence of the Raffles Doha brand. We leveraged our NO Uniform couture heritage to create a premium wardrobe featuring intricate embellishments and signature Raffles touches throughout.
Inspired by Qatari influences, such as rich fabrics and intricate embroidery, the garments are a nod to Doha’s cultural tapestry and archival Dior silhouettes. Traditional colours of gold, navy blue and black, with the sensitive pop of pastels, are carefully woven into the fabric to symbolise prosperity, opulence and prestige.
For the opening of Raffles & Fairmont Doha ahead of FIFA World Cup 2022 in Doha, we wanted to create not just a Uniform, Nicholas and his team created a spectacular employee wardrobe of incredible quality.

Raffles Doha, which occupies the same building as Fairmont Doha is sheltered inside one of Qatar’s most iconic architectural structures, the Katara Towers. Its striking facade, characterised by clean lines and geometric patterns, commands attention amidst Doha’s ever-evolving skyline.
The hotel’s interiors feature lavish materials and spacious layouts, which Nicholas Oakwell, Creative Director of NO Uniform, drew inspiration from when creating the wardrobes.
